Zeus/Jupiter: The god of the sky and lightning; the king and ruler of all the gods. (One of the three main gods)
Hera/Juno: The protecter of marriage; the wife and sister of Zeus.
Ares/Mars: The god of war and violence; one of the children of Hera and Zeus.
Aphrodite/Venus:The goddess of beauty and love; daughter of Zeus.
Hephaestus/Vulcan: The god of fire; the other child of Hera and Zeus.
Poseidon/Neptune: The god of the sea; first brother of Zeus. (Another of the three main gods)
Artemis/Diana: The goddess of wilderness and archery; sometimes known as the moon.
Apollo/Apollo: The god of truth and light; sometimes known as the sun.
Athena/Minerva: The goddess of wisdom, handicrafts, civilized life, and agriculture; has a city named after her. Hades/Pluto:The god of the underworld and death; second brother of Zeus. (The last of the three main gods)
Hermes/Mercury: The god of herds, athletics, and trade; he was a messenger and was know for his thievery.
Hestia/Vesta: The goddess of the hearth; sister of Zeus.
Dionysus/Bacchus: The god and creator of wine; he is also the god of ritual madness.
